Emergency Solutions Grants
The Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program offers funding assistance to Housing Assessment and Resource Agencies (HARA) statewide that are responding to the needs of the homeless and low-income residents, through a communitywide planning process and implementation strategy, known as the Ten-Year Plan to End Homelessness. The HARAs create a centralized intake system by mapping out resources used to prevent homelessness and rapidly re-house individuals, thus aligning scarce community resources strategically and efficiently.
ESG funds provide housing case management and stabilization services; financial assistance for leasing, utility arrearages, and security/utility deposits; street outreach; referrals to employment, healthcare, and related services within the community.
Please see the HARA Service Contact List for the agency in your community.
